Angel Val
Angel Val grew up in Minnesota, surrounded by music. Her earliest memories include watching her mom perform in a band across southern Minnesota, inspiring a love for songwriting and storytelling. Influenced by artists like Jewel and The Cranberries, Angel began writing songs and playing guitar in junior high, penning her first original, Christmas Time in MN.
Her passion for music led her to Nashville, where she connected with longtime friend Doug Olson and worked with producer Buddy Hyatt to record her albums Gravel Road and Broken. Along the way, Angel collaborated with a number of talented musicians both in the studio and on stage.
Drawing from relationships and real-life experiences, Angel's music blends heartfelt lyrics with a country-rock edge. She has performed at legendary venues like Tootsies and The Bluebird Café in Nashville, and continues to write, record, and share her music while raising her family.
